14岁名校男生 穿校服坠楼死
Amirul, 9, heard a loud noise from the playground nearby. He rushed over and saw the Tan lying on floor.
"I was not afraid of that. I just want to see what I could help with. He was clad in red-and-white jacket, with white shirt and shorts uniform underneath. He was lying motionless there, and blood flowed out from his head, " Amirul said.
He also said that nobody dared to move the victim until paramedics performed examination, followed by police setting up a blue tent. He knew that the victim was pronounced dead.
One of the neighbours, Sharifah, 56, noticed police entering the block for examination together with some neighbours. A bicycle, bag, and mobile phone were sighted at 12th Floor, which was suspected to be where the teen fell from.
After that, Sharifah saw the parents of the team rushing back and crying. It was known that the pair were having dinner at the place of teen's grandmother. They rushed back upon receiving notification from police.
Another neighbour added that Tan's grandmother followed the parents as well. According to her, Tan usually went back to her place from school, but he was beyond reach on that evening.
As observed by the reporter, the teen's relatives yelled and cried while identifying the body at the tent. One of the ladies fainted and was supported by others.
This morning, 7 of the victim's relatives showed up at the mortuary. Tan's mother grieved after body identification and supported by other relatives. Besides identifying that his nephew had plunged from the block, the teen's uncle declined to give further comments.

期间，家人多次连哭带喊，对着尸体问：“你为什么要这样？”，闻者心酸。
在附近游乐场玩耍的男童阿米鲁（9岁）听见巨响，走过去查看，看见他躺在地上。
阿米鲁受访时说：“我并不怕，我只想看能帮上什么，他穿着红白色外套，里面穿着白色上衣和短裤校服，躺在那边一动不动，后脑勺流血。”
他说，大家都不敢动男子，后来医护人员赶到，检查后警方就架起蓝色帐篷，他知道男子救不活了。
居民沙莉花（56岁）说，警方也上楼查看，一些居民跟上去，看见12楼听着一辆脚踏车、书包和手机，相信少年是从那里坠下。
父母边跑边哭
不久，她看到少年父母出现，两人奔着跑来，边跑边哭。据了解，当时父母是去附近少年奶奶的家吃饭，接到警方通知赶紧回来。
居民谢兴华（40岁，自雇人士）说，少年奶奶跟着也跑来。她告诉邻居，孙子一般放学后就回她家，但今天拨电给他都没接。
记者赶到现场，看见少年家人走近帐篷认尸，跟着呼天抢地痛哭。一名少妇哭晕，需旁人搀扶擦药油。
数学成绩优异 多次代表学校
数学成绩优异，少年多次代表学校参赛，也设网站想成为巡察长。
陈翔小学时数学成绩出众，赢得与其他三名同学到香港参加保良局小学数学世界邀请赛。
去年，他代表莱佛士书院参加“数学奥林匹克”（Mathematical Olympiad）。
他也在今年6月在面簿上开了网页，标题为《支持陈翔成为巡察长2014！》，发布自拍视频讲述要当巡察长的原因，并说“如果被选上，我会为学校效劳，成为有效率的巡察长。我会全力以赴。”
推着婴儿车附近散步 少妇吓得尖叫跑回家
坠楼附近有游乐场，事发后少妇推着婴儿尖叫跑回家。
阿米鲁告诉记者，事发当时有数十名孩子正在坠楼附近的游乐场玩耍，也有一名少妇推着婴儿车散步。“她看到发生什么事后，一路尖叫跑回家！”
居民沙莉花也告诉记者，死者生前很用功，每天晚上都埋头苦读。另一名女邻居说，死者根她的儿子是小学的好同学了，死者的爸爸管教很严，每次只要父亲在身旁，他的话就不多。
今早，死者的7名亲友出现在殓尸房，母亲在认尸后哭断肠，需要人搀扶，场面心酸。
死者舅舅向记者确认是他的外甥坠楼后，就不愿多说。

Being excel in Mathematics, Tan had been representing schools for competitions. He was also setting up webpage for school head prefect voting.

He also represented RI in Singapore Mathematical Olympiad 2013.

[Stomp] Male body found at foot of HDB block at Pasir Ris Street 71

A death tent was spotted at Block 748 Pasir Ris Street 71 yesterday (Sep 16) at about 7pm.
The Police has confirmed the incident and said the body of a male subject was found lying at the foot of the said block.
Stompers Bob and Dessie had sent in photos of the scene of the incident. In an email to Stomp, Stomper Bob said: "A death tent was spotted in Pasir Ris last night. "Police officers were seen at the block at about 7pm." Both Stompers said the body is that of a secondary school boy, but Stomp is unable to verify this.
A spokesperson for the Police said in response to a Stomp query: "Police received a call on 16 September at about 6.36pm requesting for assistance at Block 748, Pasir Ris Street 71. "
Upon Police's arrival, the body of a male subject was found lying motionless at the foot of the said block. "
He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
"Police are investigating the unnatural death."

Struggles
The two hearings are at 9.15am and 10.00am respectively. I almost attended one of them, which will be about J.
But I don't. I get back to office and compose this post.
Well, I admit that it's nothing really noble for resisting my feti fulfillment.
I was on medical leave yesterday, and getting another half-day off is just too obvious, although AL is considered an entitlement.
If there are only media and family of J attending the hearing, the presence of a stranger like me might be very awkward.
Also, I try to convince myself that it's not worth getting deep into a deceased's life. I shall focus on my own life instead.
It is a tug of war between desire and sensibility.
In the past, I would text PD regarding my struggle (since he is the only person on Earth who knows my nec feti), so that I would feel being heard by someone. However, I should start trying to stop my annoying and energy-draining acts. Instead, I vent everything here.
Still, I do have the will to shout it out to a human, instead to the black hollow blog.
I choose not to attend and not to voice, but part of my mind seems rebellious right now.
The tough and suffering double struggles.
